Atlanta, GA- The Washington Wizards are moving forward. The teal and gold era has come to an end, finally. An era marked with disappointment highlighted by drafting Kwame Brown, losing from the day the era began, and felonious activity such as Gilbert Arenas’ gun charge.
The new uniforms draw many parallels to the “Old School” ones when the team was still named the “Bullets”, an era marked with Hall of Fame players, loyalty to the nation’s capitol, and an NBA Championship in 1978.
The Wizards are hoping to replicate the success of the previous red, white, and blue era in Washington.
