Eastern Conference Playoff Preview: Magic-Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks limped their way into the playoffs on a 6 game losing streak, the longest losing streak heading into the playoffs since the Warriors took a 10 game skid into the playoffs in 1989.

Basketball is a game of runs. The Hawks seem to be the only team in the NBA that refuses to accept this reality, despite being one of the most exciting teams in the NBA when they’re making a run of their own. Eastern Conference Playoff Preview: Heat-76ers

Miami: The way the media scrutinizes every Miami Heat loss, you would think they barely made it to the Playoffs, instead the Heat finish the season as the 2 seed. They tend to feast on the Philadelphia’s of the league and I expect no let-down here. If the Heat dont make the finals this year, they might as well stop paying the cable and internet bills because the media would never let them live it down so I expect them to come out focused and ready to play from the opening tip until the series is over. Eastern Conference Playoff Preview: Bulls-Pacers

As you’d expect, the Bulls won the season series between the two teams pretty handily (3-1).

The Pacers lone win came in an overtime thriller the the Bulls played short handed without headlined acquisition Carlos Boozer and Derrick Rose, who fouled out in the final minute and a half with 42 points.

The Pacers are young and have showed signs of life this season that should give  Pacer fans hope for the years to come, but dont expect an upset this post season. Continue reading
